The president of Argentina, Alberto Fernandez, also posted on Twitter. He tweeted that Maradona took them to the highest point in the world and made them immensely happy. Maradona was the greatest of all, and they will miss him all their lives, he posted. He also wrote that he is really thankful for him for being with them.
Deigo Maradona grew up in the poorest side of Buenos Aires and wanted to become a masterful footballer in Argentina. Maradona was 16 years old when he debuted on the national side in 1977. Regardless, he was a womanizer, and he was also addicted to cocaine and alcohol.
The famous Argentine football player’s family has not made any formal comment yet.
