Madonna Trends On Twitter After Being Mistaken As Late-Football Player Diego Maradona


Australians think that 62 years old Madonna died after mistaking the pop superstar for the Argentine football player, Diego Maradona, who passed away at the age of 60.

Sports fans have been left in shock after the Argentine icon died from a heart attack in his home in Buenos Aires on Wednesday.

People used Twitter to mourn the football legend Diego Maradona, however, many thought it was the “Like a Prayer” hitmaker who passed away. On Thursday morning, Madonna was trending on Twitter, with many fans mourning and expressing their sadness for their loved singer.

When people heard the sad news about Maradona, they went out to the streets of Buenos Aires and going as a group to the footballer’s neighborhood to mourn.

The president of Argentina, Alberto Fernandez, also posted on Twitter. He tweeted that Maradona took them to the highest point in the world and made them immensely happy. Maradona was the greatest of all, and they will miss him all their lives, he posted. He also wrote that he is really thankful for him for being with them.
