A little girl became an instant online star after her mother shared a video of her throwing a temper tantrum in the middle of the aisle while her parents wed.
The girl’s mother, 31-year-old Sara Wickman from California, was reminiscing about her November 2019 wedding and decided to share the video of the child lying face down in front of the altar.
“True story. Our daughter threw a tantrum during our wedding ceremony,” Sara captioned on the video.
“But we wouldn’t of wanted it any other way.”
The video shows Sara and her now-husband standing on a stage along with the officiant
when the then 23-month-old Ellie threw a fit in the middle of the aisle.
Ellie lay down the floor face down in a bid to get her mother’s attention and lift her head up a bit to see if her antic worked.
Her little sideshow did pay off as her mother scooped her up and carried her for the remainder of the ceremony, but not before Sara laughed at her daughter’s act.
The image of Ellie curled up in Sara’s arms while the latter and her husband exchange vows is truly a wonderful sight.
Instagram users are in awe at the sight of arguably one of the most memorable moments in the family’s life.
“Now if she ever says you’re embarrassing her you can bring this up,” joked Instagram user @paramere.
Little Ellie’s stunt may seem like the highlight of the wedding, only to be one-upped by the groom’s best man.
The second part of the video reveals that Sara dropped her husband’s wedding ring as she tried to put it on his finger with Ellie in her arms.
The ring bounced on the floor as the then-groomed tried to casually look for it, but was ultimately beaten by the best man’s quick thinking.
