This time it’s Monash University that seems to be taking a bow. The researchers over there have come up with an amazing anecdote that could put an end to this disquieting era. This candidate vaccine is soon to be tested on human beings and if approved, it will cease all our troubles.

The top-tier researchers and scientists at Monash University suggest that ivermectin tends to neutralize COVID-19 cells. Once the cells are killed by ivermectin, the virus can be non-functional.

Ivermectin is the same drug that is used to kill head lice. In a plenty of experiments, the Monash scientists have found out that it also has a cosmic potential to kill the coronavirus cells. The scientists, therefore, have postulated that Ivermectin can be utilized as a vaccine for COVID-19 patients.

Dr Kylie Wagstaff inferred a sole dose of Ivermectin could get the viral RNA eliminated within 48 hours. The scientists now need to determine the right amount of dosage that humans can safely intake. 

There’s a wide array of diseases that can be treated via Ivermectin i.e HIV, Influenza. Hopes are high that ivermectin will be a saviour for COVID-19 patients as well, but pre-clinical testing and clinical trials are yet to take place.
