Former US President Donald Trump Has Slammed NBA LA Lakers superstar player LeBron James as racist.

The news comes after LeBron James posted up a controversial tweet on Twitter after the killing of a black 16-year-old by an Ohio-based cop. Here, James tweeted a picture of the cop who shot Ma’Khia Bryant on Tuesday.

The 36-year-old tweeted the officer’s picture with a line saying, you’re next and then chose to accompany it with a hashtag that comprised of accountability. 

It was later reported how the NBA player removed that tweet after sparking outrage on social media. Moreover, when questioned about the incident, he claimed that his response was doing more harm than good.

But if you think the world wouldn’t notice, think again. Donald Trump slammed the NBA star by calling him racist, nasty, insulting, divisive, and demeaning. 

He also went about urging the star to focus on basketball instead of dividing the United States. In addition, Trump spoke about how LeBron James may be a good basketball but he certainly isn’t helping the country. 

Instead, the former US President strongly felt that James was doing absolutely nothing to bring the nation together. 

Donald Trump was definitely not the only person to notice the NBA superstar’s shocking stance on the recent killing. His tweet sparked a massive debate online too with many condemning his haunting words.

Many critics held the opinion that the star chose to downplay the fact that the young black teen possessed a knife during the incident and hence posed a threat to others present at the scene too. 

The 16-year-old was killed moments after Derek Chauvin’s verdict went viral. The former cop was termed guilty of all of his charges.
