Vocal powerhouse Lady Gaga is thrilled to be a part of the star performers who will take part in the Biden-Harris inauguration.
According to media reports, Lady Gaga will join Jennifer Lopez, Chrissy Teigen, and John Legend as celebs take center stage on Biden’s inauguration day. Lady Gaga will perform the hit ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ during the ceremony in Washington DC on Wednesday.
Termed to be a performance of a lifetime, Lady Gaga has her preparations in full swing as she toured around the famous Capitol Building, late Tuesday afternoon.
This was right ahead of the inauguration day where millions of viewers from around the globe will witness Joe Biden take oath as 46th President of the United States of America.
Donning a plain white ensemble, the 34-year-old talented singer paid tribute to all of the suffragettes as she visited alongside the National Guards after her power-packed rehearsals.
In addition, pictures of Gaga lowering her gaze as she stood below The Apotheosis of Washington in the eye of the Rotunda went viral. This masterpiece painting was created using the original Fresco technique by the maestro Constantino Brumidi himself in 1865.
Striking Gaga showed off her platinum blond tresses, where were braided into a chic and stunning updo. They matched her all-white ensemble impeccably which comprised of a white toned suit with a matching cape.
“I pray tomorrow is going to be a day of peace for all Americans,” she added in the caption.
“A day that is full of nothing but love and no hatred. A day for acceptance and zero fear. I also pray for a day that is dreaming of future joy as a nation. I hope the dream is non-violent, providing our souls with safety.” She ended her message with love from the Capitol.
Lady Gaga is gearing up to perform the country’s national anthem for Biden’s swearing-in ceremony. This will take place on the West Front of the US Capitol, as reported by news outlets.
