Katy Perry confirmed she’s having a baby with fiance Orlando Bloom.
The hitmaker “California Gurls” took to Instagram on Friday to share her baby’s sex with its 92.7 million followers. To crack the big news, Katy, 35, used a snapshot of Orlando, 43.
‘It’s a girl,’ the 35-year-old singer captioned, showing Bloom’s image of his face wrapped in fluffy pink toned cream.
Perry employed her art to announce her pregnancy in March by cradling her growing baby bump for her new single Never Wear White at the end of her music video.

This will be the first child of Perry, but the second child of Orlando, given that he shares his nine-year-old son Flynn with Miranda Kerr, ex-wife.
Perry, who is judging alongside fellow music icons Luke Bryan, 43, and Lionel Richie, 70, called herself ‘the hardest b*tch.’ ‘I’m going to be a good mum. My kids will just be getting it straight, ‘Katy said.
Her Instagram post featured a brief but meaningful caption announcing she will soon have a daughter as she punctuated her words with emoji of heart. She also wrote a quick summary in her geotag, “Girls Run The World.”
In an early March interview with Mikey Piff of SiriusXM, Perry admitted that her pregnancy was ‘not just an accident’ and she would have managed to build this space in my own life, where I’m not running too ragged.
Like her pregnancy, by posting a picture of her flower-shaped engagement ring Katy declared her commitment to Bloom via social media.
The snapshot was matched with a beautifully penned caption: ‘full bloom.’
Though fans were certainly overjoyed hearing Katy talk in person about her birth, traveling days for the mother-to-be are over. She and Orlando both allegedly hunkered down at home in the wake of the deadly COVID-19 epidemic, and a source said Katy was preparing her nursery with her unscheduled time off.
