Senator Lindsey Graham is making strong predictions regarding Kamala Harris after Trump’s impeachment trial.
The Republican senator argued how he believes Kamala Harris could be next in line as an impeachment target by the Republicans. This is for her great involvement in matters relating to the Black Lives Matter movement.
The shocking line of comments come in after Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial picked up pace in Congress. And that’s when the result went in favor of Donald Trump, acquitting him for charges regarding the incitement of violence in attacks on the Capitol Building in DC on January 6th.
In light of Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial, Senator Graham also argued how it set a ‘bad precedent’ for the Republican party. Moreover, he believes that if they somehow retake a majority, they could possibly move forward and impeach Vice president Kamala Harris too.
In the same way, the senator also mentioned how using the same model that the house did for impeaching the former US president, impeaching Kamala Harris shouldn’t be an issue. “I just don’t know how Kamala Harris doesn’t get impeached if the Republicans take over the house,” Graham added.
“She actually went ahead and bailed out all of the rioters involved in the BLM protest and one of those rioters went back towards the streets and broke another person’s head open.”
Last June, Kamala Harris encouraged individuals to donate funds to Minnesota’s Freedom Movement, which posted for bail for all those arrested during a BLM protest honoring George Floyd.
The senator also went forward to explain to Chris Wallace on his Fox News interview how he did not agree with the House’s decision to impeach Donald Trump so quickly, following the Capitol Hill riot.
Moreover, he argued how Donald Trump was the first US president in history to be impeached without any lawyer, any witness, and with no ability to confront all of those against him. In the end, he concluded with mentions of how the whole trial record was a joke as a whole.
“The Democrats did it because they hate Trump’s guts,” said the senator.
