Top Judge Allows Accused R*pist Freedom From Jail If He ‘Marries’ Schoolgirl Victim


A top judge from India is going viral with calls for his resignation after he told an accused rapist to marry his victim for freedom.

The shocking news came out on Wednesday, where more than 5000 people united together to sign a petition relating to the judge’s resignation. Reports confirmed how the judge was Chief Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde, who gave out the option to the alleged rapist, just so he could seek freedom from jail.

Local news outlets confirmed how the alleged rapist was a Government level technician who received the following orders from the top judge:

“If you want to marry her, we can help you. If not, then you will lose your job and then go to jail,” exclaimed the judge.

The shocking comments went viral in the country, spreading great anger and fury amongst individuals. Moreover, it also prompted a great number of leading women’s activists to take center stage who called for his immediate resignation from the top judiciary position.

Currently, the petition for his resignation stands at 5,200 signatures as confirmed by one campaigner who goes by the name of Vani Subramanian. In that letter, the alleged rapist is accused of stalking and tying up his victim with other claims of gagging and repeatedly raping the young minor.

In addition, he dangerously threatened to drench her in petrol and then set her ablaze as well as killing her brother.

“By making this suggestion of the accused marrying his schoolgirl victim, you as the nation’s chief justice, you also agree to force the victim/survivor to a life long bond of being raped through the hands of a brutal tormentor that drives her to commit suicide in the end,” mentioned the letter.

Later, the written statement also spoke about how the shocking behavior fills so many women of India with great fury and rage as well as the burden of explaining explicit terms like rape, marriage, and seduction.
