On April Fools, FLOTUS Jill Biden pulled a hilarious prank on both her staff and reporters by dressing up as a flight attendant.
According to Daily Mail reporter Emily Goodin, Biden wore a short black wig, a black pants suit, a black face mask, and a nameplate that reads: “Jasmine”.
Biden reportedly walked through the cabin aisle. Staffers, Secret Service agents, and her press pool are inside while the disguised first lady handed over Dove ice cream bars, only to return five minutes later without the wig to reveal her true identity.
At that time, the FLOTUS was flying back to Washington, D.C., after a short trip from California, where she gave a speech to the United Farm Workers and paid a visit to a vaccination site in Forty Acres.
Reporter Goodin said that all of them inside the cabin was “totally fooled,” adding that Biden staffers Anthony Bernal and Michael LaRosa said they were “just as surprised when ‘Jasmine,’ revealed her true identity.”
Goodin added that the first lady was “laughing and visibly pleased with her prank.”
This is not the first time that the first lady pulled a hilarious prank.
In 2014, then-Vice President Joe Biden said that April Fool’s Day is “like a tradition” for his wife’s family and that he wakes up every morning on April 1st with a worry.
“What in the hell is Jill gonna do this time?” Joe said at that time.
“Like for example, one April Fool’s Day, we get in Air Force Two, we’re flying and I’m saying, ‘where the hell is Jill?’,” Joe said in 2014. “And I open up the baggage compartment on top, above, you know? And she jumps out of the compartment.”
“I feel so stupid!” he added. “This is the Second Lady of the United States of America jumping out of the overhead baggage compartment.”
