An illegal immigrant from Guatemala received a 35-year jail sentence for murdering his teen girlfriend.
According to sources, Cordero-Castro murdered his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend, settled in New Jersey. Moreover, he even attempted to escape from custody too. Thankfully, police caught his during the act.
Recently, the terrifying 22-year-old made a court appearance in Monmouth County’s Courthouse. Here, he received a jail sentence of around 30 years. His charges included aggravated manslaughter.
On the other hand, the illegal murderer received another 5-year prison term for his attempted escape. This will run in a consecutive manner towards the large 30-year sentence.
Meanwhile, Castro pleaded guilty last November to 16-year-old Madison’s killing. He brutally knifed her chest, in front of her loved ones in Long Branch.
It was the most heartbreaking affair when authorities discovered how the killer refused to accept his ex-girlfriend’s plea for a split. Therefore, he continued to bombard her with a series of non-stop texts. The judge confirmed how the accused showed zero levels of remorse and guilt for his actions.

Recently, the ex-girlfriend’s family members poured great scorn over Castro. They even went to the extent of hurling expletives towards him. Comments such as ‘burn in hell,’ were also common.
‘You are hated by thousands and you will burn in hell,’ they exclaimed. Casey’s aunt called the accused a huge coward for using jealously as an excuse for carrying out the killing. At the same time, she openly mentioned how 35 years in prison just wasn’t enough for his major sin.
