35-year-old twin brothers are charged with raping a 10-year-old girl and police are searching for their third brother for assaulting the victim.
Twins Raul and Wilmer Paz Perez, 35, were arrested on Saturday, in Kenner, Louisiana, and has been charged with first-degree rape of a victim under the age of 13. Authorities are looking for their third brother, a 31-year-old Elder Paz Perez, on the same charges.
According to the police, this disturbing incident happened last Wednesday at a Kenner home, when the 10-year-old girl was left alone in their care. The brothers are said to be friends of the victim’s family.
Police claimed that the brothers were making sexual advances towards also even offering her money, but the girl refused and locked herself in the bathroom to protect herself. The brother broke the bathroom lock with the butter knife and raped her in the bathroom.
Kenner Police, Lt. Michael Cunningham said that after unlocking the bathroom lock all three brothers entered the room undressed the victim, held her, and assaulted her.
Once the victim’s relatives came to know about the incident, they made a report. Raul and Wilmer Paz Perez were arrested but gave conflicting statements to the police, and both are being held behind the bars without bond.
Meanwhile, the police are looking for Elder Paz Perez and are pleading with the public to help them to locate the criminal, who has not been seen since last Saturday.
Lt. Michael Cunningham said that they don’t know where he is, he might be out of state.
According to the New York Post report, the twins Raul and Wilmer Paz Perez are from Honduras and are living in the United States illegally. The immigration status of Elder Paz Perez has not been disclosed.
Detectives said that the victim’s 15-year-old sister had made a disclosure about the incident that happened a few years ago, and they are now investigating whether she was also abused by Elder or not.
So disturbingly, Elder Paz Perez is now wanted on additional charges regarding a second potential victim, the 15-year-old girl.
Two stepsisters of the victim are also being interviewed by the police.
