A man found a huge huntsman spider in his headphones.
Olly Hurst from Perth was wearing headphones when he felt a tickle in his ear, and when he took them off, he discovered a huntsman spider hidden inside ear padding.
Olly Hurst is a plumber, and during work, he listens to the music in his noise-canceling headphones, and when he found the spider, he made the video and shared the footage on social media.
In the clip, he said that he absolutely knew, and he could feel that something was tickling his ear.
Olly turned his headphones upside down and shook it aggressively to get the spider out, but the spider didn’t move at all.
‘He doesn’t want to come out. He is happy in there.’ said Olly. Later in the footage, Olly dropped his headphones and walked away, laughing.
One person commented on his video, saying that they would abandon their life if they confront a similar sight. ‘New earmuffs, new helmet, new work clothes, new car, new job in a new state,’ the user joked.
Another user said that he always shake his boots in the morning before he puts them on, but luckily the worst one was a gecko.
Spiders usually look scary for sure, but huntsman spiders are docile, and they only bite when they are forced. They possess venom, and their bite can cause irritation, but they do not attack. They choose to run away and hide than being aggressive.
Huntsman typically lives in homes and in the wild, and they prey on flies and various bugs. They are native to Australia, but similar spices can be found in the US and other parts of the world.
