Germany gears up for a revolutionary change as it begins to defy the Vatican in an effort to bless couples belonging to the same sex.
The shocking news came after the country’s Congregation relating to the Doctrine of the Father’s Cardinal Luis Ladaria recently spoke about how churches no longer hold the power to go about blessing couples belonging to the same sex. With special emphasis on how ‘God doesn’t bless sin,’ the news was boldly announced.

However, although this particular piece of news was announced by Pope Francis himself, it surely attracted quite a bit of criticism from the LGBTQ community where campaigners as well as other religious figures.
As a result, there were dozens of priests in the country of Germany who pledged to stand by one simple motto, and that is how love overcomes all. Therefore, now, hundreds of religious services will be organized in the next few weeks, it was announced.
DW recently reported that the St. Benedict Church of Munich would now begin services from today where it would allow the blessing of same-sex couples, right in line with three more churches located in Wurzburg.
Meanwhile, the nation’s Catholic News Agency mentioned how there would be hundreds of services that would carry on for the first half of May, with plenty more expected.
Amid all of the rallying taking place, not to mention the calls to defy the Vatican too, many religious figures would also be distancing away from that particular statement. In the same way, churches from Cologne, Berlin, Frankfurt, and Aachen would also be joining hands in an effort to join the ‘love wins’ group.
“When people specifically go about asking for blessings in regards to love as well as the relationship, who am I even to say that it is a sin,” explained a renowned pastor from Padernborn’s Archdiocese.
