21-year-old Sophie Watts was a young woman who everyone loved. Whenever her name came up, you would hear nothing but positivity. And that’s one of the reasons why she stood out in her community.
Sophie was a young mother of 2, aged 21 years. But the fact that she would suddenly die, leaving family, friends, and acquaintances in so much despair is something no one could possibly imagine or relate to. It was a bitter reality that has so many questioning her destiny. How did the young lady die in the first place was a question on so many people’s minds.
Sophie was a former barmaid for the Aruba nightclub. Many described her personality as one in which she ‘lit up any room that she walked into.” She reportedly took her own life on February 4th, confirmed her loved ones. But why?
On Saturday, hundreds of people came together to pay their final respects and give tribute to a woman that so many couldn’t get enough of. The funeral took place in South Gare, with attendees releasing orange-colored balloons in her honor. And that’s because the mum of two always wore orange eye-shadow.
Sophie leaves behind her two young children, Jake and Riley, aged two and four. Despite the fact that the 21-year-old had so many friends and family members, it appeared as if she suffered an internal battle with her own self that no one knew about. And in the end, it just got too much for her to handle.
“Nothing was ever easy for her and in the end, the fight just got too hard and she got too tired to fight anymore,” exclaimed her sister.
Without a doubt, this was a very shocking death for loved ones and something that no one expected. The fact that she even rang people on the morning of her death is beyond believable. And it’s a bitter pill that so many loved ones must swallow.
