The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared together since they announced that they would be stepping back from the royal family.
They attended the annual Endeavour Fund Awards at the Mansion House London, an awards ceremony honoring injured service personnel in London on Thursday.
Meanwhile, royal fans are in awe over the “beautifully breathtaking” photograph as they look at each other with the “look of love.”
The photography who captured the magical moment, Samir Hussein, said, “It’s a one in a million when all the elements you could wish for as a photographer come together – perfect timing, great lighting, strong symbolism and amazing subjects make this a magical photo I am extremely proud of.”
It has been weeks since the Duchess appeared in the UK, as she has spent most of her time in Canada where the couple are expected to move as soon as their roles as senior royals official end on March 31.
Prince Harry spoke at the event, and said that he was proud to serve the Queen.
“Being able to serve Queen and country is something we all are rightly proud of, and it never leaves us. Once served, always serving.”
The Duke paid tribute to the service personnel in attendance, stating, “Leaving the military and hanging up your uniform is, we know, an incredibly hard thing to do.”
“But being forced to hang it up due to injury, beyond your control, can be even more difficult to accept,” he added.
“It can take time and effort to recognize the fact that it is something that happened to you, rather than something that’s wrong with you — so please don’t ever forget that.”
The couple stayed to watch and even applauded when an attendee proposed to his girlfriend, and the pair was invited to speak with the royals after the event.
Harry and Meghan are expected to attend an annual performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Saturday, to raise money for the Royal Marines Charity and CLIC Sargent.
