A Google maps user claimed that six dots that looked like they is hovering over the Pacific Ocean are “alien ships.
”
The news comes just days after reports that UFOs began showing up off the California coast last year, prompting the US navy to launch a search.
The latest image, which was first shared on Reddit, shows six white dots in the blue sky over the Northern Mariana Islands–a 14-island US territory in the northwestern Pacific Ocean.
The Reddit post had been swarming with skeptics who dismissed the claim.
“Our overlords made some air holes in the blue box they keep us in. They are good, they take care of us,” one Reddit user joked.
Another Reddit user pointed out that the image is obviously not an alien ship, saying: “Nope, light reflections.”
In July 2019, six tic-tac-shaped drones were spotted at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour and traveled at least 100 nautical miles.
Four US Navy warships were docked near Los Angeles at the time when they observed six of these unidentified aircraft zooming past them.
The incident was reported to the Chief of Naval Operations and the FBI, launching an investigation to find the source of the unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to uncovered internal email correspondence, Navy warships USS Kidd and USS Rafael Peralta first documented the find on July 14, 2019.
The USS Kidd made several attempts to make contact with the unidentified aerial vehicles to no avail.
Shortly after the USS Rafael Peralta began its attempt to make contact, nearby warships including the USS John Finn spotted a “red flashing light” coming from the UAV.
The discovery concluded after the 90-minute encounter that the spotted unmanned vehicles were far too advanced for a normal drone sold on the market.
