A 20-year-old female patient was murdered after doctors and medical staff gang-raped her.
This horrific sex attack occurred at the private hospital in India, Manjhanpur, Uttar Pradesh, where a 20-year-old girl was gang-raped by medical staff and doctors before being murdered.
The 20-year-old girl was taken and admitted to the private hospital with fever and stomach pain.
The girl told her parents about the alleged rape shortly before her death.
When the girl’s father reported the incident to the hospital management, they dismissed him by saying that his daughter is mentally ill.
According to The Deccan Herald, after the death of his daughter, the father went to meet the senior district officials to investigate the matter.
Now this alleged gang-rape case is under police investigation, but the doctors and medical staff who were involved in this horrific act have now fled.
Senior District official in Kaushambi, in Utter Pradesh, said that strict action will be taken against the accused persons, and the license of the hospital will be revoked.
Sanjiv Kumar, the manager of the hospital, has rejected all the allegations and said that it is a conspiracy against the hospital.
The gang-rape and murder of Jyoti Singh on a bus in New Delhi in 2012 shocked the entire nation and sparked nationwide demonstrations, but the sexual abuse and violation against women is still a pandemic across the country.
According to the data, given by the National Crime Records Bureau, about 90 rapes are reported in India every day, but many don’t get reported because of the fear, pressure, and stigma.
Last week a 21-year-old patient was semi-conscious when she was raped in the hospital intensive care unit being treated for tuberculosis.
