As college announces to reopen the university, hundreds of students were seen partying without masks and failing to keep a social distance to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
A large number of students start gathering on the street of the off-campus residences, and nothing could have stopped the crowd of students from partying on the weekend before their university reopens.
Hundreds of students who were gathered there enjoying the boozy night were not wearing any masks, nor any other precautions were taken to avoid the spread of coronavirus.
As coronavirus is spreading across the county, 3,372 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and 96 deaths were reported on Saturday and 1,873 new confirmed cases and 33 deaths on Sunday. The Georgia state has seen a total of 237,030 cases and 4,702 deaths so far.

University also made it compulsory for the students to wear masks inside the campus and in the class, but no rules have been made off-campus.
Initially, the Georgia government was opposed to wearing a mask in public but recently passed an order to help in controlling the virus where they have asked the people and government officials to wear masks whenever they are outside of their homes except while eating and drinking.
According to the data from the State Department of Public Health, only two out of 159 counties of Georgia were below a “threshold requirement.” The threshold requirement was to meet if each county had 100 or more cases of coronavirus.
So the new order that has passed allowed every government of each county who have reached a “threshold requirement” to wear a mask on government-owned property.
It also says that anyone who fails to wear the masks can be fined more than 50$, but it doesn’t include jail time.
