The cast of Friends is said to make a fresh appearance on TV screens as they film an untitled, unscripted Reunion special in August this year.
The show, which originally had to be aired on May 27th, has been held back due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Official news broke out in February to the fans attesting all six stars – Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry – will reconvene for this project.
After a couple of months following the 25th anniversary of this exemplary sitcom, this news was made available to the general public.
Keeping in mind the social protocol, the cast has promised to start shooting in the month of August.
Friends, being two decades old, has its charm intact. It has been transferred not as an ordinary sitcom but as an evergreen legacy to the younger generation. It has thrived to be one of the most liked shows in today’s world where we have innumerable other options to binge-watch.
In Addition to its availability on Netflix UK and Ireland, the new streaming enterprise HBO Max has paid an exorbitant amount of $425 million to grant rights to this sitcom.

Kevin also took pride while highlighting his work association with Friends. “I became aware of Friends when it was in the very early stages of development and then had the opportunity to work on the series many years later and have delighted in seeing it catch on with viewer’s generation after generation”, he said expressing his sheer gratitude.
As Deadline reports, stars will be receiving a paycheck of $3-$4 million for their commitment to this project.
