The Islamic group, linked to late Sheikh Yassin, is a part of the country’s efforts to crack down upon militants that may be involved in the recent killing of a teacher. This shocking incident took place last week, as the murderer beheaded the teacher in public.

While Hamas denies any link with this group, rumors suggest how it is named after the renowned Sheikh Yassin. He was an influential Muslim leader from Palestine. At the same time, he was also the co-founder of the famous Hamas movement.
