A fake plastic surgeon was arrested for drugging and raping an unsuspecting woman after offering to give her a ‘designer vagina’ procedure.
Brody Amir Moazzeni, 35, was charged with crimes including sexual battery and practicing medicine without a license after allegedly inviting a woman to his apartment, telling her he would do the procedures and then forcing her to have sex with him.
Moazzeni, from Miami, Florida, is said to have injected some medicines into the woman’s face, arms and legs as part of the procedure. But police said that the suspect gave his victim an unknown drug, which made her lose her senses.
Local news reported that Miami Beach police arrested Moazzeni and detectives are currently working to determine if anyone else has been targeted by the fake doctor.
According to the police report, Moazenni met the woman victim in late January through a mutual friend and told her he was a cosmetic surgeon. He then invited her to his apartment where he performed various injections to areas of her face, arms, and legs.
The report added that Moazenni told the victim that he was a gynecologist, and could also perform a cosmetic vaginal rejuvenation. After performing a ‘test’ with a metal object, Moazenni allegedly told the woman she did not need the rejuvenation.
Police said the woman had a ‘reaction to the injections’ and Moazzeni invited her to stay at the apartment overnight to allow for the swelling to subside.
The woman told police that Moazenni gave her an unknown drug, which made her lose her senses, and then had non-consensual sex with her, detectives have said.
A police investigation into the allegations showed that the suspect does not have a medical license in Florida and that he also obtained his rental apartment by showing a payslip from alleged employment at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center. The payslip, however, was determined by investigators to be fake.
On March 10, a police search warrant was obtained and conducted inside Moazenni’s apartment. Detectives found various controlled substances, as well as certificates from various medical schools.
Moazenni later told the police that he graduated from a medical school in the Caribbean, but that he had not passed the required medical exams that would allow him to practice medicine in the US.
Moazenni also admitted that the medical certificates on the walls of his apartment were fraudulent and were printed from the Internet. The investigators also found a device used for vaginal examinations proving the victim’s allegation of sexual battery.
Police said that the controlled substances found inside Moazenni’s apartment were obtained through the internet.
Moazenni admitted to performing ‘check ups’ for people he knew or that would ask for his advice and added that he did not advertise as a practitioner and that all of his ‘patients’ were referred to him by word of mouth.
According to the police, Moazenni said that he was making part of his living from patients that visited him at his apartment.
“What’s most troubling in this is not only the details of this investigation but the strong probability that there may be additional victims out there,” Miami Beach Police Department officer, Ernesto Rodriguez, said.
Moazenni told the police that he had consensual sex with the woman various times and has denied sexual battery.
Moazenni is charged with sexual battery, practicing medicine without a license, drug dispensing without a license, forgery, and possession of controlled substances.
