In one of the saddest affairs ever, recent video footage from Canada revealed the unthinkable.
According to reports, a heartbreaking video is making the rounds. And they feature a dying indigenous woman, surrounded by a toxic hospital atmosphere.
The rather disturbing video featured a 37-year-old mother, named Joyce Echaquan. Unfortunately, she died on Monday, moments after getting admitted. Furthermore, the incident took place at Canada’s Joliette hospital. And her complaints included severe stomach pain.
However, you won’t believe how toxic her hospital staff environment turned out to be. It featured nurses making the rudest and inhuman comments possible. Right before she passed away, Joyce started a Facebook live video. And that’s where she filmed the nasty behavior of hospital staff around her.
Some comments included: ‘You’re as stupid as hell,’ made by a French nurse. And this was the same point in time where she squirmed with pain. Next, you could hear, ‘you made some really bad choices.’
‘what are your kids going to think of you, after seeing you in this condition.’ All in all, it was truly heartbreaking.
And just in case that wasn’t enough, one comment included ‘she’s only good at having sex.’ They even questioned her about the expensive bills.
The indigenous woman, Echaquan, is actually a tribal member of the Atikamekw group in southwestern Quebec. Previously, she suffered similar issues too. But her medical condition truly went beyond anyone’s imagination. Reports confirmed how she also suffered from a heart condition too.
