Former US President Donald Trump has confirmed on Thursday how he is very serious about his presidential run in 2024.

Trump boldly mentioned how the polls clearly showed that ‘everybody’ wanted him to do it and therefore he is not looking back, in a recent interview with Fox News. “100 percent I am thinking about running for the presidency and we will be very successful at it,” he added.

In the same way, the President spoke about how he is also going to be tapping Florida’s governor Ron DeSantis for the position of vice president and his running mate in the elections, in the case that he launches his bid.

The report from Wednesday explained how the former US president was busy consulting his advisers regarding the restarting of MAGA rallies. Therefore, news reports suggested how they could possibly begin as early as the month of May, despite the threat of the pandemic looming upon the nation.

Trump informed the Dan Bongino Show that if he did choose to run for the presidential bid, he would probably wait until after the midterms of 2022 to go out and announce the bid.

Donald Trump referred to Florida’s governor as a good friend of his. “I endorsed Ron, and right after I did that, he skyrocketed. He has definitely done a great job as the governor of Florida,” Trump explained.

Critics mentioned how choosing Ron DeSantis could be a potential political tactic used by the former US President to get one of his potential challengers out of the way. And that’s because rumors are surrounding the fact that the governor is himself considering launching himself in the presidential race of 2024.

Trump was very optimistic about his future, putting great emphasis on how the polls revealed it all, “So I am giving it all a very serious consideration for the presidential run. All the polls were so positive and in my favor. And nobody has seen anything more positive than that,” he continued.
