A couple was recently charged for neglect and the death of a little dog after the owners opted to place the dog on a strictly vegan diet as they did not believe in eating murdered animals.
The shocking news relates to a couple from Australia who claim they absolutely love animals and hence can’t stand murdering animals and then consuming them. For this reason, the couple opts to live on a strictly vegan diet. And they did the same with their two dogs, not thinking about the consequences that their poor actions would bring.

Investigations into the harrowing case showed how both James McKenzie with his wife Megan Price, who hails from Queensland, opted to starve little Ula and Roo with a poor diet.point 458 |

The diet comprises rice, chickpeas, quinoa, grains, and pasta- clearly, a major mismatch for young puppies, claim experts. For this reason, both members of the couple have been barred from keeping pets, despiting justifying their behavior.
The charges went on to include two counts for failing one animal while another count revolved around failing to comply with the directions from the animal welfare society, during the period of April and May 2020.
As the dogs were getting seized, reports confirmed how the couple informed them that they were vegan and love animals. They even went to the grave extent of accusing the members of the animal welfare society of behaving in a cruel manner and murdering animals just to satisfy their food cravings.
Both puppies had severe calcium deficiencies and were in a generally poor state. One tragically passed away while the other was shifted to a more loving and caring new home, confirmed reports.
