Dr.
Bryan Cox delivered the baby boy Logan in the same hospital where he delivered his mother Lauren 25 years ago.
In 1995 Dr. Bryan Cox delivered Lauren on 23rd March and Lauren’s mother Lsobel Luna took the photo of her newborn daughter with the doctor to remember the special day.
Fast forward to 25 years Lauren Cortez took the photo with the same doctor after his son Logan James was born on 26th July.
Later Lauren posted the picture and shared the story on social media with the caption ’25 years later, the doctor who delivered me also delivered our son!!. The title was enough to get the attention of the public and the story was enough to generate 800,000 likes and since then her post has been retweeted more than 82,000 times.
When asked about the career Dr cox says that he find joy and happiness in his work. And it’s just so wonderful to see Lauren who was delivered by me in the very same hospital is giving birth to the new life in my presence.
It was a very special moment for both Lauren’s family and Dr. Cox, although due to some health issues Lauren’s mother Lsobel couldn’t come to her grandson’s birth, she asked her daughter to take a picture with Dr. Cox when the baby is born.
Lauren said,
‘She knew right away he would be so willing to recreate those pictures, we all loved it so much. It was a very special moment and I can’t wait to share the story with Logan one day.’
Later about Dr. Cox she also stated that Dr. Cox is passionate about his work that is why our and other families love him and respect him. He loves his job and he genuinely cares about the people.
She also said:
‘When Logan was born he sang him Happy Birthday, just as he had done to me when I was born. It’s one of his signature things.’
And to add more twist to the story after Lauren’s post went viral she started to follow Dr. Cox’s wife on social media little did she know that Doctor’s mother in law is related to Lauren’s husband’s grandfather.
To this Lauren added,
‘It was so freaky that Dr. Cox has went from feeling like family to somehow becoming family. Now, what are the odds of that?’
