There’s some bad news for Disney fans around the globe.
They’ll have to postpone their trips to most sought-after Disney theme parks until everything gets normalized. When it comes to bringing back good old days, there’s a long way to go – things are least likely to change in the wink of an eye.
Social distancing and travel bans have already turned down the business of Disney theme parks. There’s hardly any herds of Disney enthusiasts roaming around inside the parks, there’s no hullabaloo in all those parks anymore. And more importantly, people are prioritizing social distancing in a serious fashion.
Disney authorities realized there’s no good in letting the totally vacant parks remain open. Money is not rolling in, profits are turning into losses, and business is almost shattered, hence it would be better to close all theme parks till restrictions draw to an end.
Just because business started falling to pieces, Disney ceased the remuneration of more than 100,000 of its employees to save themselves $500 million every month. It means, a lot of people would be running out of money these days as they’d be going unpaid till they return to work.
As for now, they have announced, they’re going to reopen all their theme parks in 2021 – the closure of parks can be extended if things don’t improve till the commencement of next year.
Disney fans might have to wait for their utmost favorite places to open their doors again until some vaccine for Coronavirus gets discovered.
A plenty of candidate vaccines are ready for a human trial, and we’re earnestly hoping for at least one of them to work. Since no one has any idea when suggested vaccines will get approved, and when they’ll get multiplied, and when they’ll be supplied in areas far and near…. things can only be estimated.
Amidst the worldwide travel restrictions, Disney theme parks will remain closed for God knows how long. Let’s hope it’s 2021.
