Minnesota’s police union head is blaming Daunte Wright for his own death as he believes the 20-year-old failed to comply with authorities.

The veteran cop claimed that it was an accident, where she had reached for her taser but got a hold of her gun and didn’t realize the error until she had fired the bullets.point 145 | 1

On the other hand, Brian Peters mentioned to WCCO news radio how his statements would be very unpopular for the masses, yet he still boldly went ahead and decided to make them.
“On April 14th, Wednesday, Daunte Wright should have just complied. He was specifically told that he was under arrest and they were arresting him on the basis of a warrant for weapons possession. Therefore, he was the one who set up the chain of long events that tragically led to his own death,” Peters added.
In addition, he spoke about how Daunte Wright’s death cannot be excused but you can’t fail to notice that in most police-related incidents these days, non-compliance with authorities was commonly seen by the members of the public.
