A woman doesn’t know how to handle trolls and hate coming her way after she shared her daughter’s lunch photos.
A mum discovered a dish which her finicky eater daughter finally liked.
She decided to share it with other parents on social media. The idea was not a bad one, but the feedback was appalling. Lauren Denholm, a mother of two kids, is from West Lothian; she saw a post on Snapchat where a woman had prepared a mixture of Heinz tomato sauce and macaroni cheese.Lauren’s 4-year-old daughter, Wynter, liked the idea and said she wants to eat the dish too.
The mother was pleased as this was the first time Wynter got excited about food. She prepared the unique dish for her daughter and posted the picture on social media for other parents.
Defeating all her expectations, hundreds of people jumped in the comment section trolling and abusing her.
“I was shocked and terrified to the core as I was not expecting this barrage of abuse. I only intended to help parents having fussy kids like mine,” said Lauren.Thousands of people shared the post, and many jammed the comment section with dogmatic remarks. Some crossed all the boundaries and called the mother “manky” and her dish “paedo food.”
“Who on earth is this moron? This is absolutely F******g bogging,” a lady commented. Many agreed with the woman and passed similar remarks.
“Straight up nonce behavior,” said a user.
“Manky woman,” another lady commented.
Another person went even beyond this and said her whole week had been ruined after seeing this “absolute honkatonk.” “Someone, please get this idea so far south away from me,” she added.
Lauren was devastated by the unnecessary hate and said, “It is okay if people don’t like my choice, but why would they abuse me? Why are they wasting their energy to make “vile remarks” about a “wee girl”? These bizarre comments are intolerable.”
Thousands of people passed unnecessary hate; a few liked the idea and wrote positive things in the comment section.
