Senator Ted Cruz took to his Twitter account on Sunday to call out Rep Maxine Waters for encouraging BLM protesters towards obtaining a more violent stance.
The Senator announced on Sunday how Waters was taking a more confrontational approach towards Minnesota protesters. The news came when Waters gave an interview to a local media agency where she spoke about how she feared that Derek Chauvin wouldn’t be convicted in the George Floyd murder trial.
At the same time, Waters also informed reporters on Saturday how if the former Minneapolis police officer wasn’t found guilty, they would have no other option but to stay on the streets as that is what it would take to get more active and demand justice.
“We have got to make sure that they know that we mean business,” she again added boldly.
Meanwhile, Senator Cruz mentioned to a particular Twitter remark how the Democrats were busy and actively encouraging acts relating to violence and riots. He even tweeted the link towards a story relating to how a California-based Democrat’s comments were totally out of the league and went away stating, “They want to tear us apart.”
However, this certainly isn’t the first time that the Republicans went on accusing Waters of stoking confrontations.
In the year 2018, she was seen on video stating, “Let us make sure that we all show up whenever and wherever we need to show up.”
She even informed her supporters that if anyone sees a member of the Cabinet at any location like a gas station or even a restaurant and department store, then they should go about creating a crowd to make their voices heard.
“Let them all know that they simply aren’t welcome anymore anywhere. We need to get our children connected to their parents,” she added.
