It was the most heartbreaking moment when an elderly couple from Berkshire, battling COVID-19, bid their final goodbyes.
79-year-old Gerry Jarrett and his 76-year-old wife Barbara both contracted the deadly virus and had to be hospitalized. Since their condition worsened, it seemed like the end was very near. And on that note, the Berkshire hospital staff thought it would be a good idea to allow the husband and wife to see each other, for the last time.
Moreover, they felt that this is the least they could do for them, as they wouldn’t get another golden opportunity to spend precious time together again. Now, the daughter is praising the hospital’s staff for their kind gesture, and allowing her dear father to see his wife, for what is probably the last time ever.
