Coronavirus Latest: China Removes Top Hubei Health Officials As Death Toll Exceeds 1,000


Yesterday was a sad day for China and for mankind as the number of deaths due to the deadly coronavirus was reported to be as 108 – the highest since the outbreak began.

China has reported that the number of deaths on February 10th was 108 – which is the highest since the outbreak of the coronavirus from the Wuhan city of Hubei province.point 267 |

According to the National Health Commissions, as of now, the total number of deaths within China only has reached 1,016 while more than 2,478 new cases of infection were confirmed making the numbers of infected people jump up to 42,638.

Even though the exact cause of the virus outbreak is not confirmed yet, it is believed that the virus was originated from the seafood market in Wuhan city – the capital of Hubei province. Yesterday, 103 deaths had been reported in the Hubei province including 67 in Wuhan.

A day before the Chinese President Xi Jinping visit at the hospital facility in Beijing, 2 officials Zhang Jin – the party secretary of the health commission for Hubei and Ling Yingzi – the director of the Hubei Provincial Health Commission, were removed from their posts.point 243 |
