The former UFC champion told his 3-year-old son to ‘hit him in the mouth’ after Conor Jr said someone tackled him on the beach.
Conor McGregor, 32, posted a video of him having a pep talk with his son, Conor Jr about family honor.
“That’s the McGregor family crown, champ,” McGregor told his son, holding a pendant around his neck. “This is the McGregor family crest, it’s a lion’s head with a crown on it because you are a king, champ. We are kings.”
“Bash anyone that says anything, you hear?” he said in the video.
“Did he hit you? Where did he hit you? What do I say? Hit him back,” McGregor told his son. “Where are you going to hit him? Hit him in the mouth.”
“He hit you in the back, did he? Go hit him in the mouth. Aim for the mouth and the nose champ,” McGregor said. “Be faster, that’s why we train.”
The UFC star then gave his son a kiss and told him that he’s going to give him some boxing training.
McGregor has been very vocal about the importance of teaching martial arts to his son and has previously shared heartfelt moments in the gym with Conor Jr.
The Irish superstar is currently in Dubai with his family for a holiday vacation ahead of his fight with Dustin Poirier.
