A horrifying moment was captured in a petrol station CCTV where a man abducted a four-year-old girl while her mother was paying for the gas inside.
This incident happened in a petrol station in the city of Boryspil, Ukraine, where the four-year-old girl Elizaveta Kolisnichenko was kidnapped by an unknown man when her mother was paying for the fuel.
It is shown in the surveillance footage that a man who was wearing a black tracksuit and jeans took a four-year-old girl named Elizaveta Kolisnichenko into the white car while her mother was inside the petrol station paying for the fuel.
After putting her into the back seat of his white car, he sped off.
The National Police of Ukraine said in the press release that the man took advantage of the fact that the mother was busy paying her bill. When she was distracted, the man abducted Elizaveta Kolisnichenko, put her into the car, and drove into an unknown direction.
According to the witness, Elizaveta was with her parents, dad stayed in the car, and she went into the petrol station with her mother. While her mother was at the checkout paying for the gas, she was looking at the toys.
They made a call to the authorities, and as soon as they reported the abduction, authorities mobilized all available officers, even the CID detectives, to track down the girl. And finally, they were able to find the abductor within two hours.
Kyiv’s Chief of Police, Andrey Nebytov, said that despite all the difficulties and hurdles they managed to find the kidnapper near Boryspil Airport within two hours and saved the girl from any trouble. The girl is now safe and sound with her parents. He appreciated the efforts of all the officers who were involved in the search.
According to the reports, the kidnapper was 29 years old, a local resident, and he has been taken into custody. On arrest, he confessed to his crime. He told the police that he kidnapped the child with criminal intentions.
