One father is going viral after he accepted his child’s dream to perform as UK’s youngest ever drag queen.
Right after his son, Fabian Butler, was born, this dad from the UK knew exactly what he wanted. Therefore, like every other father, he wished for his child to grow up to be a certain way. From playing football games to teaching boxing, the list was endless.
However, at the age of 8, little Fabian asked for something rather peculiar from his dad. He ditched all of those sports fields while explaining to his terrified father some rather strange news. Certainly, his father was taken aback at how he wished to dress up like his own mom.
While it was one of the most difficult pills to swallow, his father attempted to do everything imaginable to change his son’s mind. This new phase was truly uncomfortable for him to accept and one that he would remember for a while.
Darren also felt that his friends would make fun of his child and his rather alter ego. But at age 11, things took a different turn.
Fabian is now a drag queen performer. Moreover, many people recognize him as a very young drag queen. But that’s just the start of the rather shocking discovery. His father takes him to all of his gigs, supports him, and even enjoys his shows. Let’s not forget how he helps him shop for all of his outfits too.
Meanwhile, Darren says that he was the actual opposite of his son, during his growing up years. He aspired to become a boxer because he enjoyed it. But now he understands that every child is truly different.
