Kellie Rossi Larsen, from Logan, Utah, recorded a video of her pet Nova’s toothy grin on after finding his unwanted housewarming ‘gift’ on the carpet.

In a captured video, Larsen asked her dog: “Nova, what is this?” she said as Nova tries to walk past her. “What is this? Was this you? Did you poop in the house?”

Nova then sat down and mugs for his owner, showing off all of his teeth in a cheeky wide smile. 

“We recently moved into a new house, and one of our three dogs, Nova, had a little accident in the house because everything is new and confusing,” Larsen said in the ViralPig report.

“When Nova thinks he’s in trouble he does that cheesy smile to try and get out of it.”

Nova tried to grin his way out of trouble and it worked!
