The feud between Princes William and Harry has been on the front page of news all over the world.
During Prince Philip’s funeral, the brothers were seen talking, and people had hoped that it is the starting point to restore their relationship.
However, this might not be the case.
According to reports, Prince Harry reportedly met with both Prince Charles and William to discuss the claims he and his wife made in the infamous Oprah Winfrey interview.
Sadly, the Duke of Sussex didn’t take the talks well as he felt ‘ambushed’ by his family, reports said.
A senior royal insider claims that Charles, William, and Harry met on a Saturday after the funeral.
Angela Levin, a royal expert, said that Prince Charles was not planning on taking Harry’s side at all after the explosive interview with Oprah.
Levin claimed that Charles is planning to “ditch” Harry and Meghan from the Royal Family once he becomes the king.
“Prince Charles has wanted for a very long time to cut the monarchy down to save costs and to make people be worth the money that they got from the taxpayer,” Levin said on TalkRADIO. “I imagine that might be when Harry and Meghan are ditched from being members of the Royal family.”
The family meeting between Charles and his two sons actually happened and from the outside, it looked as if they were starting to understand each other, a source has said.
But unfortunately, that is not the case, because Harry reportedly didn’t enjoy their meeting at all.
Prince Harry was reportedly ‘outraged’ about the meeting, because the two-hour sit-down at Windsor Castle after the funeral was unscheduled, and that he felt “ambushed” by his father and brother.
“The meeting after the family laid Prince Philip to rest was not scheduled,” a source told Radar Online. “Harry felt ambushed by his dad and brother which is no way to start a peace process.”
The same source claims that the brothers had some contact before the funeral, however, it was more “texts than calls,” and their first attempt at restoring their relationship was a failure.
“Now to you negotiate peace with a couple who are willing to burn the whole place down?” the source said. “Harry and Meghan think they are coming to the table in a position of power and they have nothing else to lose.”
“Everything, from titles to money to security has already been taken away,” the source said. “If the family is serious about making peace they could start by returning everything they removed.”
When Harry felt “ambushed”, he also felt that it wasn’t the right time for him to talk about the infamous interview and all the things that had happened with his father and brother.
Radar Online also reported that Harry didn’t even want to return to the UK without his wife Meghan Markle present.
Meghan stayed home in the US because she’s been advised by her doctor not to travel. She and Prince Harry are expecting their second child this summer.
