The future king of Britain could cast out Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle for good, a source has said.
Prince Charles’ relationship with his son Prince Harry has reportedly been tense since the Sussexes departure as senior royals.
A source told Express UK that Prince Harry’s frosty relationship with his father may result in the Sussexes as not being part of the future Royal Family.
The source added that since Prince Philip’s death, things are not getting any better, and have only become “worse”.
“Everything that has happened since the Duke of Edinburgh’s passing has only made matters worse,” the source said. “For every small step forward, there are two backward.”
“The Prince of Wales has a vision of what the Royal Family may look like in the future and if things stay the way they are—or worsen—Harry and Meghan may not be part of that picture,” the source added. “The Sussexes may find themselves cast out for good.”
Because he is the first in line to the throne, Prince Charles reportedly has a new vision of what the future of the British monarchy will look like. This includes a “slimmed-down” Royal Family which could mean casting out the Sussexes, the source said.
“Charles is working toward a new slimmed-down monarchy and is freezing Harry out,” the source said. “He’s actually already out.”
“After the damage that Harry has caused the family, he firmly believes that his son doesn’t deserve the privilege of being a royal.”
The source claimed that Prince Charles is still enraged about Meghan and Harry’s interview with Oprah and won’t let it pass.
During the Oprah interview last month, Prince Harry told Oprah that his father and his brother William are trapped within the system of the Firm.
The Duke also added that Prince Charles stopped taking his calls when the Sussexes decided to step back as senior royals.
Prince Harry said that he felt really let down by his father and that there’s a lot of hurts that’s happened.
