As it is not a secret anymore that the United States has left behind Italy and Spain in terms of the number of mortalities.
The United States of America has hit the highest number of coronavirus cases in the last few days, and it speaks volumes about the inadequacy of the system that has failed millions of American nationals.
People were expecting to see a decline in the figures but it turned out to be the other way around. A few days ago, the total number of reported cases in the entire country was 500,000, and you would be taken aback to learn that the figure has doubled in this less time.
Over a million Americans have been infected by the ungodly coronavirus as per the recent reports. And with this, North America becomes the most vulnerable country with the highest number of COVID-19 cases reported in the last few months.
The number of fatalities also seems to be sky-towering as it goes up to 58,000. It deciphers, the United States of America has been overwhelmingly affected by the on-going wave of COVID-19. In some countries, the current wave seems to have slowed down a bit, but in the United States, reality seems to be at odds with the expectations.
If we are to believe the stats, they’re losing 17.6 people over every 100,000 citizens.
In the Vietnam war, the rate was as low as 8.5 over 100,000. In a bunch of months, they lost a good deal of lives; the number of lives they lost in the previous three months is greater than the number of lives they lost in 20 years in Vietnam.
It would not be an exaggeration to state, the American government has been knocked sideways by the deadly pandemic as they seem to be quite gullible in front of it. Their medical infrastructure seems to be falling apart at the seams which is really unfortunate.
