Former Olympic champion and transgender reality star Caitlyn Jenner is being called out for supporting the recent ban on trans girls competing in the world of female sports.
Jenner mentioned in an interview recently how she simply doesn’t believe it is fair to allow ‘biological boys’ that are trans to be able to compete in female sports. In addition, she termed it as being unfair too as she felt it was time to protect girls’ sports in all schools.
The news comes as multiple states issued moves that went on banning all transgender girls as well as women from taking part in public-themed sports teams.
Just recently, the governor for the state of West Virginia, Jim Justice, went on signing a bill into the law where he banned all transgender athletes from taking part in girl’s sports. Moreover, this makes West Virginia a part of nearly 30 states which introduced slates comprising of greater than 200 discriminators as well as anti- LGTQ legislation for this season.
Just last Friday, Governor Kay Ivey of Alabama made headlines when he signed something similar into the law.
This week, Florida’s Senate announced its adoption of the anti-transgender amendment towards the education bill, which the governor Ron DeSantis is reported to sign soon.
