A 10-year-old boy was found bludgeoned to death in Harlem, New York recently.
According to media reports, the young child was found dead in his family’s apartment residence in Harlem. Moreover, those who knew him closely referred to him as an innocent little angel too. Some even mentioned how he mostly remained silent and never made a peep.
Reports confirmed how authorities found his entire body inflicted with the trauma of the severe kind on Saturday afternoon. And ever since the news spread in the vicinity, loved ones can’t seem to hold back their tears of grief.
He reportedly had signs of both new as well as old injuries with many suspecting some possibilities of sexual abuse too, confirmed police officers.
One emotional cop went as far as mentioning how he would simply never be able to forget the gruesome nature of such an incident. “I am never going to be able to forget something like this.” The same cop also spoke about how he was the first to respond to such a scene. “That kid really went through a lot,” the emotional cop exclaimed. “It certainly wasn’t the first time and it just didn’t happen randomly yesterday.”
On the other hand, the young child’s stepfather revealed to law enforcement authorities how he heard some loud bangs on the front door of the family’s residence. It was around 2 pm in the afternoon when that occurred. And when the stepfather went to open the door, he found the boy very unresponsive.
He was sitting in a propped-up position, revealed sources. On that note, the young child’s mum called up 911 rescue services for help while his stepdad soaked his body in cold water as a means of reviving him. However, when he arrived at Harlem hospital, he was pronounced dead.
Currently, there are no charges in the case so far. But authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
