Age is just a number and this 43-year-old botox addict mum is proving true to that notion.
Marcela Iglesias is used to receiving tons of compliments on her youthful appearance. For that reason, the mother isn’t appalled when people refer to her as being her own teen son’s sibling.
On average, Marcela spends about £740 in a year. And that’s just related to her botox treatment. While the cost may seem staggering, the mother says that it is absolutely worth it. And by that, she means the tons of praise and flattering comments that people give her.
“Whenever we go out together, be it shopping or concerts, people assume that I’m a part of his gang,” explains Marcela. In the same way, the 43-year old says that some can’t believe that she is a teenager’s mom.
In the past, her son, 19-year-old Rodrigo, used to cringe at the thoughts and praise she received, However, today, he doesn’t mind. In fact, he enjoys it when people make strange comparisons. According to Marcela, he has learned to love them.
The mum of one from Los Angeles explains how her son used to get embarrassed. Today, it’s completely normal and they both just laugh it off.
Marcela goes on to add how it probably has to do with the fact that she’s not your average or typical mum. According to her, she’s trendy and very fashionable. On some occasions, the mother-son duo also share clothes too.
“I have some wonderful unisex jackets that actually look great on him,” she explains. Even her own son claims that she doesn’t look like a ‘normal mum.’
Marcela admits that she is a little crazy as well as extreme. However, her son is ok with that. In addition, he is also ok with the fact that she refuses to act her age. You can find the 43-year-old hanging out with her son’s friends and that’s why some assume her to be in the ‘gang.’
