The British premier who is under treatment for Coronavirus at Thomas’s hospital, London, hasn’t been evicted of the intensive care unit as yet.
Boris Johnson was admitted to the hospital last Sunday, and after spending 24 hours with peace, he started yearning for oxygen. Albeit his ability to breathe without a ventilator, he was shifted to the intensive care unit as a precautionary measure.
Now that he’s still there, his health seems to be getting better with the time being. That is some rejoicing news for the people of his country especially his well-wishers.
The official spokesperson of the British prime minister said, his body’s temperature scaled down a bit and hence he can feel better. He also added, Boris Johnson can breathe on his own and doesn’t need an aide with respect to this matter. It establishes, he hasn’t been on a ventilator since he got admitted to the hospital.
Whereas his colleagues and party-mates should be happy hearing of his gradually improving health, some of them are raising questions with respect to the arrangements that had been made to attend to his needs.
Some of the Tories think he has fallen prey to the virus because of no adequate preemptive measures taken in the first place. It has been revealed that important meetings were taking place in congested areas at 10 downing, and the attendees were free to sneeze and cough throughout. This height of carelessness evoked this terrible situation, as per their opinion.
They have also raised their eyebrows over the care and attention he was being given when he commenced self-quarantining. Initially, he was in touch with his doctors via video call and there was no medical staff around.
The shortcomings in medical assistance for the prime minister couldn’t be concealed anymore. It’s a huge lacking, said the Tory MPs, and it needs to be ameliorated immediately.
