As it is already known to every man jack that the British prime minister, Boris Johnson, is under intensive care for about two days.
And leaders around the world have been wishing him to recover soon.
If you go down the memory lane, you can easily recall that he was admitted to St. Thomas’s hospital in London because of the stubborn COVID-19 symptoms that didn’t go away in 10 long days.
After spending almost a day in good spirits at the hospital, he began to seek oxygen which he was already being given via an oxygen mask, but the doctors wanted to make sure he gets instant ventilation in case his symptoms further worsen.
Needless to say, everyone across the UK would be willing to see the prime minister getting back to normal.
Even some of his political opponents, including the prominent labour leader — Keir Starmer, tweeted to extend their sympathies and thoughts.
Political rivalry should not come in the way of humanity for sure, and Keir Starmer just proved it.
However, there’s a huge number of left wing liberals and labour party stalwarts who trolled Boris Johnson over his worsening health condition and tried to rub these aggravating circumstances in his face — which is unarguably wrong on so many levels.
It was totally astounding to see one of the mayors of the Labour party chipping in with her sadistic remarks. Sheila Oaks, mayor of Heanor in Derbyshire, made a spectacle out of herself by spewing venom unto a political rival in this unlikely time.
She clearly stated in one of her tweets, “Sorry, he deserves this and he is one of the worst prime ministers we’ve ever had.”
Surely when Sheila was making this ruthless statement, she had no clue about what she may be facing afterwards. Her remarks received a heavy criticism from both ends. The mascots of the labour and conservative party didn’t refrain from castigating her inapt statement.
One of his supporters wrote, “‘Nobody wants to hear this. Nobody wants to hear trolling against Boris Johnson. Just stop it. Honestly, it’s beyond imagination that that should be your thought process. The man’s fighting for his life.”
What are your thoughts on it?
