Bodycam Footage Shows Black Homeless Man Fatally Shot In The Face By California Deputy


Bodycam footage of the intense shooting between a California deputy and a black homeless man was recently revealed.

Here, the intense footage captured the moment when the sheriff’s deputy goes about fatally shooting a homeless and knife-wielding man. From the background, loud sounds of ‘shoot me, come here and shoot me, kill me,” can be heard too.

The man clearly tries to threaten the officer with the sharp weapon in his hand, slowly approaching him, the released video showed this week.

Reports confirmed how the footage was released on Wednesday by Sheriff David Livingston who is in charge of the Contra Costa vicinity. He went on to explain how the officer involved in the incident was Andrew Hall, who is a police officer based in Danville.

In addition, Livingston went on to add how the officer was fully justified in carrying out the shots that resulted in the fatal death of 32 year old Tyrell Wilson. In the clip, the black man can also be seen jaywalking towards the officer.

On multiple occasions, Hall tries to calm Wilson down by saying ‘come here’ as the suspect walked in the center of the intersection, while throwing rocks at vehicles that passed by him. This particular incident took place on the 11th of March, confirmed media reports,

In the clip, the cop warns Wilson that they’re not here to play any games. “You’re jaywalking dude, you’re throwing rocks,” the officer exclaims. Next, the officer begins to identify himself, right before the suspect starts threatening him by mentioning, ‘Don’t you dare f**king touch me. Touch me and see what’s up,” he adds in the intense exchange of works.

Wilson can then be clearly seen pulling out his knife, while initially backing up, right before making a few steps towards the officer.

Livingston confirmed how any form of losing life is tragic but now, the community can see the truth with this video.

Currently, the investigation into the case is still ongoing but prosecutors feel Wilson could be alive today as the firing was not necessary.
