With the year coming to an end, this Black Lives Matter demonstrator’s rescue is getting called out for great reasons.
While 2020 is definitely going to go down as a time period worth forgetting, there are some top moments worth cherishing. Certainly, viewers of CNN Heroes will agree with us on this one. Recently, viewers came across a series of historic moments of the year.

And the award went to Patrick Hutchinson’s wonderful act on humanitarian grounds.Here, the man of the hour displayed great character during a protest for the Black Lives Matter Movement in London.
For this reason, he is receiving all the deserving fame as the year’s most inspiring event.As a father and grandfather, Hutchinson attended his first-ever BLM demonstration, last June. Here, people supported the act of condemning statues with racist links. Suddenly, they all came across White protestors who stood close to protect the statues.
In addition, clashes started breaking out of nowhere. Meanwhile, Hutchinson spotted a man who was attacked. He had wandered carelessly into the giant crowd. At that point in time, Hutchinson couldn’t just stand by and watch in silence. Therefore, he and his friends formed a circle around the man that had fallen.
Then, he picked up the man from the ground, in a fireman carry, and then brought him towards safety.
Media sources released pictures of the event as they occurred, and they quickly went viral across the globe. Only moments later, the British Transport Police claimed how the man was Bryn Male. He was a former officer that Hutchinson rescued.
Later, after the protest, Patrick Hutchinson talked with CNN. Here, he explained exactly what was going on in his mind, at that time. His real focus was to avoid any sort of catastrophe. And all of a sudden, the entire native changed into ‘Black Lives Matter, Youngsters Kill Protesters.’ That was the message he tried to avoid.
