The activist group reform leader who founded the BLM, Patrisse Cullors, is in the line of fire for her luxury spending.
Patrisse Cullors was recently called out by Megyn Kelly for spending around $26,000 for her recent stay at an exclusive luxury-themed Malibu resort in the year 2019.
The famous Suites at the renowned Calamigos Guest Ranch as well as Beach Club has been given VIP status with their cozy chic and country lounge vibes. The exclusive resort doesn’t come cheap either with costs hitting up to $1200 during the peak summer months.
Moreover, the Black Lives Matter Campaign’s records showed how the mega five-figure sum entailed countless mysterious meetings and appearances with no trace records up to date. Clearly, pieces of the puzzle didn’t fit right in place, leading to doubts in so many people’s minds.
Meanwhile, one spending watchdog mentioned during a recent interview how an audit was true of the utmost essence right now so as to uncover whether or not the campaign’s funds were used illegally or for personal purposes.
Not only did Cullors pay a massive amount of $10,179 for her meetings and appearances, but she also went ahead to splurge around $15,000 for her Malibu Conference Center. The months of spending were reportedly termed to occur during the months of July and September.
Therefore, the spending didn’t go down too well with former Fox host Megyn Kelly who took this as the perfect opportunity to bash Cullors with a Tweet. “The BLM must represent the Babes Lounging In Malibu? or perhaps Big Loads of Money?” She even spoke about how it could relate to Marxism as well.
This is definitely not the first time that Cullors’ rich and extravagant lifestyle, as well as spending habits, have been in the spotlight recently. The 37-year-old leader also came in the spotlight after sources revealed her multi-million dollar property empire. And for this reason, many feel that an audit could soon be well on its way.
