Another Week Of Violence In New York: An Amazon Employee Is Beaten To Death By A Random Attacker


Deshawn Bush A 36-year-old was beaten to death after a verbal discord with an unidentified man.

He was found unconscious at around 4:20 am outside the shop in Greenwich Village, Manhattan.

He was then taken to the hospital, but because of his severe injuries, he couldn’t survive.

Authorities shared that he was out with friends when this incident happened, and the assailant fled from the scene, and police are checking surveillance footage to find the suspect.

Shamel Bush, his brother, says that he is still in shock, and he cannot believe that his brother is no more. ‘I’m still going in and out of crying.’

Shamel also shared that he and his brother were not on speaking terms and weren’t close to each other and had some family issues, and while talking more about his brother, he said that he was a confident and brave man and was never afraid to be and to show who he was. ‘We had our issues, but we were family at the end of the day.’

According to the authorities, Deshawan Bush was hired by Amazon and was all ready to start his job.

With the police recording shooting incidents involving 40 victims, it seems like New York continues to see a surge in shootings, and for the last few weeks, shooting incidents have been up tripled compared to the previous year.

The statistic followed a pattern since June when coronavirus lookdown began to ease down. Mayor Bill de Blasio and NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea are conflicting about the fact that what is to blame for the rise in crime, whether it is the gang activities, the slowdown in the court system, or rage affected by the lengthy lockdown.

In Grand Central Station at 10 am morning, another unidentified man shot at a 40-year-old man after a dispute and fled from the scene, but luckily the victim survived the shot and had an injury in his left arm.

The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital. Police have released the CCTV footage of the suspect running from the scene on foot westbound on East 42street and asked for public assistance to find the suspect.
