Religious fanaticism is a thing that we should all give a wide berth since it’s not good for anyone on earth.

People should avoid sharing chauvinistic thoughts at the behest of religion or God.

Religion is good in so many aspects, but it is not the cure to every disease, it is not the solution to every problem we face in our lives. Spirituality is healthy but superstition isn’t. One needs to see the thin line between the two.

Recently a Bishop from Virginia who proclaimed that God is mightier than the virus currently haunting the entire human race has left the world, and guess what, COVID-19 was the very reason. He succumbed to the deadly Coronavirus which he thought was not strong enough to affect Godmen like him.

While it is extremely distressing to see one more human life losing battle against the loathsome virus, it is important to apprise people of blind faith and its dreaded consequences.

Bishop Gerald Glenn had been infected with the ungodly virus some time ago, and despite all the warnings from the centers for disease control and prevention, he paid no heed to this threat looming over him and his attendees at the church.

The pastor at New Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Virginia announced on March 22 that God is stronger than the virus, and after a couple of days, on April 4th the news came out that he’s been tested positive.

Although he, before his death, said that he’s not afraid of dying – he’s certainly not a martyr and there should be no one glorifying his demise. Also, there should be no blaming him or holding him partly responsible for his death as good is all we should remember about the dead.
