Cameras Spot Former President Bill Clinton Falling Asleep At Joe Biden’s Inauguration


Former US President Bill Clinton took the time to catch up on some shut-eye during Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony.

Short video clips began going viral in no time when the TV camera caught a glimpse of the former leader with both of his eyes closed. At that particular moment in time, the new president of the United States, Joe Biden was delivering his inaugural address, present outside the US Capitol.

It was quite evident the Clinton appeared to be nodding off as camera crews and reporters were quick to break the news. One Twitter user shared the moment of a live cellphone recording from a CBS news broadcaster who mentions boldly, “Bill Clinton is absolutely asleep.”

Within minutes, the news went viral on social media with jokes, memes, and shares taking center stage. Another similar recording went on YouTube showing BBC covering the hilarious event too.

The video came posted with the title, “Bill Clinton Falling Asleep At Presidential Inauguration.” And that’s when one user laughed it off by saying, “They zooming in on Bill Clinton sleep like he doesn’t always be sleeping… the man is old.”

Meanwhile, Clinton was seated right next to his wife, Hillary Clinton, as well as former US President George W. Bush and Mike Pence, who is the outgoing Vice President. None of them appeared as if they needed any form of shuteye.
