Shocking new footage revealed horror on the streets of Houston, Texas when a Bengal tiger was caught roaming around the neighborhood on a Sunday.
In the jaw-dropping video, viewers get an up-close and personal view that shows the exact moment that the giant animal approaches one Sherrif’s deputy who happened to be off-duty that evening. The exact location was identified to be the West Houston neighborhood, confirmed reports.

Here, the deputy has his weapon aimed at the animal for defense throughout the shocking incident, preventing it from coming closer. As the anticipation regarding the news grew, more and more frightened citizens watched the event closely from their homes.
One woman may also be heard in the background saying, ‘there is a freaking Bengal tiger that is roaming around in the yard, and this man needs to be real careful,” she adds.
Meanwhile, as the news spread, police officers from Houston begin to quickly arrive on the scene. In the meantime, the owner of the tiger quickly attempts to bundle the giant creature into his big white-toned Cherokee jeep, right before fleeing the scene and making a quick run for it.
On the other hand, the spokesperson for the police department, Victor Senties, explained to local media outlets how the officers worked hard in giving the jeep a good chase but just couldn’t catch up with his speed. Currently, investigators are busy with the case and how such a giant animal was able to roam around freely in broad daylight.
While the state of Texas is famous for some of the most lenient as well as unique pet ownership laws of the US, it’s still illegal to own tigers as pets in the designated city of Houston, confirmed reports.
